Extras are bookable in advance.  Sat Navigation and child seats being the most popular. Thai Rent A Car charge a daily rate , but it is capped at maximum. This means it will not costs  a fortune if your after a long rental. If you wish to save yo should consider bringing your own child or baby seats. You will also be familiar with how to fit inside the car plus you know it is the correct size for the infant.

What is Included in The Price Quoted ?

Thai Rent A Car include : Free Unlimited Additional Drivers, Third Party Liability, Vehicle Theft Waiver, Unlimited Mileage, Premium Location and Airport Fees, Tax ( VAT and GST ), Roadside Assistance . CDW with an excess THB8,560 Baht for 1.2 - 1.6 CC and THB 2,840 Baht for 2.0 CC and up. See below on how to reduce the excess or waive to zero.

What is the Minimum Age & Costs For Additional Drivers?

Minimum age is 21, no Maximum age. No charge is made for additional drivers, however, they must be nominated and have their names entered on the rental agreement at the time of rental.

Adding Child Seats & Booster Seats?

Child seats (6 months to 3 yrs old only) at THB100/day - Max charge THB1500/rental/seat.Baby capsules for infants under six months are not available.10 SEATERS - cannot fit - only in front passenger seat, but Budget 10 seaters do allowThai Rent A Car Comments (24 Nov 2010) : Our seat belts in Hiace Van is only two point style (waist locked)but Baby seat have to be fitted with three point syle (shoulder and waist locked)that for safety reason

Drivers Licence requirements

Driving licence from country of residence is acceptable Thai Rentals will also accept an International driving licence. When driving please keep your licence and passport in the car

Adding Sat Navigation GPS

Available at all depots costs depends on length of rental. THB200 per day max THB3,000 per week

The Local Refundable Deposit

CREDIT CARD ESSENTIAL UPON ARRIVAL, NO Debit or Electron cards accepted. NO cash deposit. A credit card in name of the NAMED driver is required. THB = Thai baht A local insurance excess deposit of THB4,000 (see below) against lead drivers credit card (no cash deposits), and will be refunded upon return of the vehicle, in same, clean condition. Also a THB1,000 fuel deposit (see below), making a total refundable deposit of THB5,000 on collection.THB = Thai baht

Free within 15km Thai rent depot, 15-30kms THB300 & over 30Kms THB500 for delivery and/or collection

Out of Hours Pickup at Airport

Out of hours Pick up and Return are available at all on airport and off-airport locations with no additional charges, if airport full flight details needed.

Thai Rent A Car One Way Rentals

Thailand one way rentals are free for rentals 7 days or over. Under 7 days we must an extra THB1,000 & THB8,000 based on distance between depots. You can rent for 7 days and return early as can be cheaper, but if under 7 days, some fees are:-Bangkok to Pattaya, Hua Hin THB2,000 Bangkok to Phuket, Chiang Mai/Rai THB6,000Bangkok to Samui, THB8,000

Thai Rent A Car Fuel Policy

Supplied with full tank at start of rentals and must return same. This may also be return to same level. Either way it will be noted in the rental agreement, so just return same
