Phuket Aquarium

Here are found several rooms displaying tanks of various sizes, from small containers with seahorses, some fun and colorful clown fish, the slightly-odd looking long horn cowfish, to gigantic tanks hosting some of the local species, including giant groupers, leopard sharks, sea turtles, and moray eels. There are even some Piranhas from the Amazon. The star of the show is without a doubt the Tunnel, which never ceases to fascinate kids, and adults alike. Like in any aquarium you can do some silly shopping and get yourself a painted plate with a Nemo on it.

Promthep Cape

Promthep Cape is located at the most Southern point of Phuket. It is one of the most popular areas in Phuket and has an iconic status. It offers a stunning picturesque view of the Andaman Sea. Promthep Cape is also known by the locals as the ‘God’s Cape’. It is composed of tall cliffs that shape the point of the most southern part of Phuket Island. Tourists flock here to capture some of the finest pictures of sunsets. Not only do picture buffs come to the cape for the views, so to do artists and nature lovers as well. Driving Tips and Advice

Parking space is a premium in most shopping complexes and it is accepted practice to park parallel in front of already parked cars. If you find yourself with this as the only parking option, you must ensure the car is left in neutral.

On entering these car parks security will give you a plastic card or a slip of paper. In both cases do not leave this in the car as a car thief can simply drive it away without being stopped by security. If they give you a slip of paper this normally needs to be stamped, to avoid paying any fees. If you should lose either you will have to pay a set amount which can be THB 300 upwards.
